Company Increased Staff by 20 Percent, Formed New Partnerships to Support Continued Growth
FREDERICTON, New Brunswick – February 8, 2011 – Remsoft, the leading provider of asset lifecycle optimization solutions for land-based and infrastructure assets, today announced that in 2010 it achieved its 18th consecutive year of profitability. During the year, Remsoft executives were named Franz Edelman Laureates for Achievement in Operations Research and the Management Sciences, the company was recognized in an independent research firm’s report and it added staff to support strong growth in its grey infrastructure practice.

- Industry Awards and Recognition – Remsoft executives were named Franz Edelman Laureates, the most prestigious honor in management science and operations research, for the company’s contribution to the field and its work with the New Brunswick Department of Transportation. In a research report titled, “Sustainable Business Systems, Part 3: Differentiating Sustainable Solutions by Functional Domain,” author Stephen Stokes recognized Remsoft’s solutions in the governance, risk and compliance, and sustainable logistics and green supply chain domains.
- Growth – During its 18th consecutive year of profitability, Remsoft increased staff by 20 percent and added new clients, including: Finite Carbon, Forestry Plantations Queensland, Coillte and Sabah Forest Industries, among others. The company launched its Infrastructure Sustainability Service and strengthened its position as the industry leader serving companies that need to optimize land-based assets.
- Client Success – Earlier this month, Remsoft announced the inaugural members of its Million Dollar Impact Club. The Club recognizes clients that have achieved a return on investment of more than $1 million. The first members of the club are the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and American Forest Management.
- Partnerships – Remsoft and Mosek have partnered to embed Mosek’s mathematical optimization solver into Remsoft’s suite of analytics solutions, making it even easier for clients to quickly realize the true value that asset optimization can bring to their organizations. Remsoft plans to announce additional partnerships in 2011.
