Remsoft boosts sales force with Jay Terrill and promotes Greg Singleton to cover new ground

(FREDERICTON, New Brunswick)  Leading analytics software developer Remsoft is pleased to announce Jay Terrill as Director, Business Development-Transportation Asset Management (North America), based in Brockville, Ontario.  In addition, Greg Singleton has been promoted to the position of Global Director, Business Development – natural Resources and Environment, in Ottawa. The positions compliment Remsoft’s growing sales capability and expanding market in advanced analytics.

Jay Terrill has more than 20 year’s experience in the Information Technology sector, developing lasting client relationships and partnerships.  Formerly Vice-President Business Development for Nextanalitics, where he was responsible for worldwide OEM software sales, Jay has built a high-achieving career on his foundation in map making. A high honours graduate of Cartography from Seneca College, his experience includes Geographic Information System (GIS) product management and North American sales leadership roles for Cognos, Autodesk and HP, among others.


His expertise includes implementing custom applications for the federal government and municipalities.  Jay was also Principal of his own consultancy IMAPS.  A runner, renovator and kayaker, Jay will realize uncharted potential for new and existing clientele.


Greg Singleton is now Global Director, Business Development – Environment having joined the growing Remsoft team in 2008 as a software sales executive.  Greg has an impressive 18 year-background in the IT industry. His proven capabilities providing sales and marketing consulting to small and mid-sized software companies have prepared him for more responsibility over a larger geographic scope for Remsoft. Prior to joining Remsoft, Greg launched Strattisoft Technologies, and held senior sales positions for OEM and channel business development with several renowned companies in the sector. 


Greg’s experience covers numerous software technology areas including email marketing, business intelligence, Windows network infrastructure, enterprise content management, and enterprise data communications. Greg is a founding and steering committee member of the Ottawa-based Sales Leadership initiative and is an active volunteer in his community.


Both Jay and Greg work with Doug Jones, Director, Client Services and Product Management, who oversees Client Services for Remsoft.


“Advanced analytics” builds on the capabilities of business intelligence, providing additional insight and clarification on the resulting data. It identifies the “something more” and shows how to capitalize on it.
